Consortium Partners
AI-BOOST is composed of a strong consortium of seven partners, from six different European countries.
ZABALA, F6S, CINECA, INESC TEC, Univerzita Pavla Jozefa Safarika V Kosiciach, EIT DIGITAL and Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
Each partner is bringing their unique expertise to the consortium to reach the project’s objectives.
Cineca is a Consortium composed by 117 institutions among Italian universities and public institutions, which offers support to scientific research, public and industrial, through high-performance computing and the use of the most innovative supercomputing systems based on state-of-the-art architectures and technologies.
Cineca’s aim is to accelerate scientific discovery by providing high-performance computing resources, data management, as well as HPC services and expertise. Cineca hosts a wide range of supercomputers with different architectures, including LEONARDO a pre-exascal system that ranked 4 in the TOP500.
Pavol Jozef Šafárik University in Košice (UPJS) was established in 1959 and is the second-largest classical Slovak university. Belongs to the most successful scientific research institutions in Slovakia, research teams participated in number of national and international projects. Faculty of Sciences is the strongest contributor to the research outputs of the university and key partner in the european digital hub EDIH CASSOVIUM (EDCASS).
UPJS in cooperation with other partners built the University Science Park TECHNICOM as an internationally recognized centre for research and technology transfer in the field of innovative applications with the support of knowledge technologies. UPJS has established academic security team (CSIRT-UPJS) which represents a unique combination of operational activity, research, and the dissemination of security awareness. For 25 years UPJS has been developing and operating a complex information system for study management, which is used by more than 15 Slovak universities.
UPJS is the founding partner of Košice IT Valley cluster – regional partnerships of IT companies, educational institutions, and regional governments in the Eastern Slovakia.
Faculty of Sciences and Faculty of Law conduct the intersdiciplinary education and research activities in the area of data science, artificial inteligence, cybersecurity and digital law.
